Hotel Sapphire Opposite Golden Temple, Amritsar

Staying at this hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were smooth and comfy, offering a view of the Golden Temple just a short walk away, but they are quite small as are the washrooms. The service was extremely good and attentive, making my stay enjoyable. The location, right next to the Golden Temple, is the real highlight, perfect for a short visit. However, the lack of a restaurant was a downside, even though there is a room service menu available. The dining experience was good but limited in options.

The hotel may have had small rooms, but they were very well furnished, neat, and clean. Before being assigned a room, I had some doubts about the value for money. However, the rooms turned out to be quite clean and well-maintained.

The hotel offers an excellent view of the Holy Golden Temple. While some rooms are a bit small for the tariff and the service can be slow, I didn't feel it was a great value for money. However, you do get what you pay for.

The hotel is conveniently located right opposite one of the gates of the Golden Temple, making it ideal for a small family stay. The rooms, although accommodating for five people, lack windows which can make them feel a bit suffocating at times. The service was good and polite, with the presence of running hot water, but the warm hospitality was missing. The location is excellent, within walking distance to the Golden Temple, but slightly congested due to the market nearby. The dining options were limited to Paratha, Curd, and bread butter, included in the package but not very varied. Overall, a decent choice for a short stay near the Golden Temple.
